LINCOLN EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
OFFERS STUDENTS DISTANCE LEARNING OPPORTUNITY
West Orange, NJ – October 2002 – Lincoln Educational Services, a national career training company, will be partnering with Vemics Inc, an emerging leader in distance learning, to offer e-learning new technology to Lincoln's students and corporate clients.
Students attending any of the company's 23 campuses in 11 states will benefit from the added advantage of learning from qualified instructors from around the country with video-conferencing technology. Synchronized real-time video transfer allows students from an unlimited number of locations to interact live with the instructor. Small classes from all campuses can combine through distance learning programs and benefit from the interactive technology. The Lincoln Educational Services schools that will be part of this program include Lincoln Technical Institutes, The Cittone Institutes, CEIs, and Denver Automotive and Diesel College.
"Vemics' pioneering work in e-learning is the ideal complement to Lincoln's solid foundation in customized training and education and together we'll break new ground in meeting the needs of our students and clients," said David F. Carney, Lincoln's chairman and CEO.
"This distance learning partnership with Vemics will allow Lincoln to expand and extend the proven training services it offers existing students today, while positioning itself to take current and future course content into new markets," said Vemics CEO Fred Zolla.
